was thinking that we don't see a lot of space scenes these days since everyone focuses on land and interiors, so here is my small contribution to this dying form of art

The image is done purely with texture work (planets) and painting (atmospheres and distant nebulas) + 3dsmax asteorids

It's very good work, lightning is nice and image has good contrast. Combination of textures/painting/3D is great. It all fits together. I think Mixed media should be better category for this, since it combines various methods, not only painting & airbrushing. :)
