My entry for the Halloween Wallpaper Contest; Wish me luck!
Somewhat a retake of The Shadow Forest theme, that you enjoyed so much one year ago with more oriental feeling. This one has a story aswell which will be continued in later images Prints are available

Day 103
I've arrived today at the edge of a strange, dark forest. It lies in my path towards the angel's mountain and there's no way around it; I must enter it or turn back. May the ancestors protect me!
Day 104
There is a strong feeling of death everywhere in this forest but no sign of it...and this is what scares me the most; I simply don't know what to expect. I'll proceed with caution and I truly hope this is all in my head.
Day 105
The mist is getting so thick I can barely breath. Poisonous clouds are appearing from everywhere; I must get out of here as fast as possible!
Day 106
Ahead of me lies a lone and strange obelisk with rune markings; I wonder what it says....or who built it...but I don't have the time to examine it; I must get out of here!
Wait...what's there? Over the obelisk? I can barely see it but with the help of the moonlight I can distinguish the shape of a...crow? How can this be? It's the first living being I've seen since I've entered this damn forest...I'll try to aproach it...
